This Scheme is sponsored by A.I.C.T.E.New Delhi to consider self employment as a career option, provide training in Entrepreneurship through modular courses and increase the relevance of Management particularly in the non-corporate and under managed sectors.
The main objectives of EDC are to train, encourage and start Entrepreneurship activities.
To create an environment for self employment and entrepreneurship development through formal & non formal programs.
To develop management personal at appropriate levels for the non corporate and unorganized sectors like education, rural development, small scale industries etc.
Recent activities under EDC in our institute are three days “Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp”in association with CEDOK, Dharwad conducted for final year students, two week “Faculty development Program” on “ENTREPRENEURSHIP” in association with MIT Pune ,Technology Business Incubator ,approved by department of Science & technology Government of India ,New Delhi and National science & technology Entrepreneurship development Board.
