Bharatesh Education Trust (BET) which is celebrating its Diamond Jubilee this year, was established in the year 1962 under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950(Registration No. 254 [BGM]). It was started by enthusiastic entrepreneurs, the trust branches are spread across 19 educational institutions which include North Karnataka’s renowned Motichand Lengade Bharatesh Polytechnic, Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Nursing college, ITI, MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Com, BA, B.Sc., M.Sc. courses, Kannada, Marathi and English Medium Schools and the CBSE school. The primary objective of the trust is to impart supreme quality education to the poor, needy and rural students in and around Belagavi. Several of Bharatesh institutions have been accredited including MBA, BCA, BHMC (NAAC) and Homeopathic Hospital (NABH).
Bharatesh Education Trust is governed by a Managing committee of 15 members which comprises of industrialists, engineers, businessmen, educationists, judge, advocate and social workers who are highly experience, managing large scale industries and business houses in Belagavi.
Every institute of the trust is having a separate Governing council or Technical advisory committee to manage the institutions.
The range of activities, in addition to educational activity, include Philanthropy, heritage conservation and community services. Our hallmark is to keep pace with the changing times as regards quality, infrastructure, amenities and support services.
