Diploma Mechatronics Engineering program was started in 2005 affiliated to Board of Technical examinations and the Department of Technical Educations. The AICTE sanctioned intake is 60.
Mechatronics is concerned with the blending of Mechanical, Electronics, software and control theory engineering topics into a united frame work that enhance the design process. The program addresses different elements of a Mechatronics system ,signal conditioning, sensors, actuators. It has a smart mechanism to work in any kind of environment like factory automation, home automation, office automation, microcontrollers and software. It is taught by an interdisciplinary team from mechanical, electronics and computer engineering.
