On behalf of our staff members, I welcome you for a stimulating learning journey. The department of Automobile Engineering was started in the year 1984 affiliated to AICTE with an intake of 40 per year and it was enhanced from 40 to 60 in the year 2010 and has made significant achievements during this journey. Department has a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty member.
Automobile Engineering involves the understanding of the mechanics of vehicle chassis, internal combustion engine, electrical and electronic systems and motor transport, computer aided design and development, manufacturing and maintenance of automobile components etc.
The courses are designed to create engineers with strong modeling, experimental and design ability with excellent communication and team working skills. Students are welcomed with warm greetings with an aim of creating automotive leaders of tomorrow.
The department has state-of-the-art laboratories which include numerous 2 stroke, 4 stroke engines and in detail apparatus to learn about all mechanisms of automotive which provide hands-on experience to meet the learning requirements of students.
Guest lectures, seminars, in-plant training and industrial visits are organized in every semester.
Our alumni are employed by automotive giants such as Toyota Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata, Maruti, Aequs, John Deere, Bajaj Auto etc.
Apart from this, Automobile Sector is the most emerging and employability generating field in today’s era and for the future too.
