Brief Profile Of Our Polytechnic
With the blessings of Shri Samanthbhadra Muni Maharaj, the dream of our visionary founder chairman late Shri.Komalanna Doddanavar of Bharatesh Education Trust was fulfilled through the establishment of the polytechnic with the aim of producing skilled technical experts in the year 1984.The polytechnic is recognized by AICTE, New Delhi and approved by Department of Collegiate Technical Education(DTE), Government of Karnataka and affiliated to state Board of Technical Examinations. The polytechnic got Grant in Aid in the year 2001 for 02 eligible programs.
Our polytechnic is at the forefront in technical education over a period of almost 38 years and flamboyantly marching ahead to accomplish new milestones. The quality of the education imparted is bestowed by NBA accreditation in the year 2005 for 05 diploma programs. The polytechnic is providing an excellent infrastructure, equipment and computing facilities. Highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members are responsible for overall development of the students.The polytechnic is situated on Airport road and the campus spread over 10 acres provides just the conducive atmosphere for the pedagogical activities. The polytechnic is also contributing to the society by conducting skill development training programs through well-established Bharatesh Skill Development Training Centre, MHRD Government of India sponsored Community Development through Polytechnic, National Service Scheme(NSS) and Youth Red Cross wing.
We have an Industry Institute Partnership Cell to achieve interface with the industries and Entrepreneurship Development Cell to creating awareness about the entrepreneurship. We have full – fledged training and placement cell to take care of placement activities. Our alumni are placed in leading positions of MNCs in India and abroad. Several of our alumni are successful entrepreneurs, and in turn they are creating many job opportunities.
The institution has got religious minority status in the year 2013 by the National Commission for Minority Education Institution, Government of India and also from the state Government.
Outcome based curriculum was implemented in the year 2015 by DTE, now revised C-20 curriculum was implemented from the academic year 2020 progressively. In-plant training, industry visits, invited lectures, activity based learnings, project based learning are mandatory as a part of the academics.
12 days’ induction program will be conducted for first year students at the beginning of the academic year and parents meeting.
